Darwin Space are currently hiring for a Structures Integration Manager on behalf of a business in Spain.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and verification of all structures integration activities associated with the launch vehicle.
- Manage propellant tanks, interstage, fairing integration and secondary composite structural elements
- Acts as the interface between propulsion engineering, manufacturing, vehicle integration, avionics integration, propulsion integration, test operations, and launch operations.
- Structures Integration Leadership by leading all structures integration activities for launch vehicles and future developments.
- Coordinate installation, routing, integration, checkout, and validation of structures, propellant tanks, interstage, fairing integration and secondary composite structure.
- Ensure structure integration activities comply with approved configurations, procedures, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Maintain operational readiness of structures integration teams, tooling, and facilities.
- Integrated Vehicle Checkout & Testing
- Lead structures support activities during integrated vehicle testing campaigns.
- Coordinate structures functional testing during vehicle integration and launch preparation.
- Ensure structures readiness for qualification and acceptance testing.




- Support troubleshooting during integrated vehicle test campaigns.
- Support launch site structures integration and checkout activities.
- Coordinate avionics closeouts before launch operations.
- Support launch countdown and operations.
- Coordinate rapid troubleshooting and anomaly resolution during launch campaigns.
- Ensure structures integration activities comply with approved configurations and engineering documentation.
- Maintain traceability of structures configurations.
- Support nonconformance resolution and corrective action implementation.
- Team Leadership & Organization
- Lead structures integration technicians, engineers, and operational support personnel
- Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability within the structures integration organization.
- Support staffing, training, qualification, and development of structures integration personnel.

Required Qualifications

- 10 years of aerospace structure's integration, electrical integration, or launch vehicle/ Aircraft or Satellite integration experience.
- Strong understanding of aerospace structures
- Experience supporting integrated testing and launch campaigns.
- Experience leading technical integration teams in operational environments.
