As Global Head of Admissions Operations, Data and Analytics you will design the systems, processes, and insight layer that turn a growth ambition into a repeatable, measurable enrolment engine. If you thrive on ownership, rigour, and turning data into decisions, this is the role. Role Summary The successful Group Transfer Pricing and Operations Manager will support the development of a scalable Group Tax function, with particular responsibility for transfer pricing, and the alignment of tax requirements with Finance processes through tax accounting and reporting under IRFS and Spanish GAAP. This is a tax specialist role rather than an accounting position. This position reports to the Group Head of Tax.
Key Responsibilities
Transfer Pricing
• Support the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Group transfer pricing policy, including the review of existing intercompany arrangements and requirements arising from acquisitions. This will include, but will not be limited to, the following: (i) support the transfer pricing cycle (data gathering, benchmarking support, and local reporting drafting), (ii) compile intercompany documentation and functional analysis, and (iii) assist with periodic reviews and updates of intercompany agreements to align with transfer pricing policies, coordinating inputs and routing for approvals.
• Ensure a consistent global TP framework across the Group and that the newly acquired companies comply with it from day 1. This will include, but will not be limited to, provide specialist transfer pricing input into tax due diligence, transaction structuring and post-acquisition integration, as required.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and work with external advisers and local teams to meet applicable jurisdictional requirements.
• Partner with the Tax Compliance and Advisory Manager, Legal,
Treasury and Finance on the practical implementation of intercompany pricing, charges, settlements and year-end adjustments, ensuring consistency between policy, contracts and financial records.
• Identify transfer pricing risks, documentation gaps and process improvements, escalating material matters to the Group Head of Tax promptly. Tax Accounting and Reporting
• Oversee income tax provision reporting and coordinate the preparation and review of current and deferred tax calculations, tax provisions, effective tax rate reconciliations and related disclosures under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Work closely with Finance teams to ensure that tax positions, intercompany transactions and relevant adjustments are accurately reflected in financial reporting.
• Develop consistent tax reporting packages, controls and supporting documentation across Group entities, investigate material variances and escalate significant tax reporting matters.
• Support the definition and monitoring of cash tax, tax leakage and other relevant tax KPIs in coordination with the Tax Compliance and Advisory Manager, Finance and Treasury. Systems, Processes and Controls
• Help embed tax data, reporting requirements and controls into the Group ERP implementation and chart-of-accounts design.
• Develop standardized reconciliations and review controls to improve the quality, timeliness and traceability of tax information.
• Identify opportunities for automation and more efficient collection and analysis of tax reporting and transfer pricing data. Business Partnering and Group Development
• Support acquisition integrations by assessing tax reporting and intercompany requirements and helping newly acquired entities adopt Group standards.
• Contribute to the development of a scalable Tax operating model, taking on broader coordination and oversight responsibilities as the Group grows. Experience and Profile
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in tax. Ideally, candidates will have a combination of at least 5 years in a Big Four firm or reputable tax advisory/law firm and at least 3 years in an in-house tax function within a medium-sized or large multinational group (10000+ employees), with proficiency in Microsoft applications. This combination is preferred rather than mandatory.
• Strong technical grounding in tax accounting under IFRS, and transfer pricing, with the ability to bridge tax technical requirements and financial reporting. This is a tax role rather than an accounting position, but an economic degree or equivalent will be positively considered.
• Transfer pricing documentation experience in a multinational company or professional services firm.
• Genuine intellectual curiosity and a strong commitment to continuous learning, with the willingness to explore new areas and develop expertise beyond their existing specialisms.
• A genuine commitment to creating value for others, with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset and a strong desire to make a positive impact on colleagues, stakeholders and the wider business.
• Demonstrate the potential to develop into a leadership role, progressively overseeing specialist tax activities and teams as the Group expands.
• A detailed-oriented person with strong communication skills (English and Spanish), being comfortable working in a dynamic and international environment, and able to engage effective with management, tax and non-tax functions.
