No Offer Description The Power Systems Group announces the opening of a position as Junior Project Engineer to work on the SCAPE project under the HORIZON EUROPE programme and under industrial contracts, in the field of innovative state-of-the-art power electronics for EVs and RES. The tasks to be carried out will include development of novel converter topologies and associated modulation and control strategies, including modelling, simulation, and experimental testing of small power converter prototypes. The position requires includes lab testing activities.

We offer
a short-term R1 position until the end ofproject activities. Salaries will be paid in accordance with the IREC’s salary policy, depending on the candidate’s qualification and professional experience. Requirements Research Field Engineering Education Level Master Degree or equivalent Skills/Qualifications
* Master in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control, Electronics Engineering or similar.
* Hands on experience on power converter development
* Experience in electronics modeling and simulation software
* Experience in lab testing
* Availability to start in inmediately is a must Preferred
* Experience with communications and automation systems.
* Experience with control boards design and programming.
* Experience with HIL systems.
* Knowledge on Matlab, Altium, or similar PCB design software #J-18808-Ljbffr
