Experteer Overview
As Staff Product Security Engineer, you drive Okta’s product security posture by building and running the PSIRT and vulnerability programs. You lead incident response, disclosure, and vulnerability management across products and business units, partnering with engineering, legal, and security teams. You will mentor engineers and steer proactive threat detection to protect customers as Okta scales. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Define and implement Okta's Product Security Incident Response Program across all products
• Manage day-to-day bug bounty operations: researcher engagement, triage, severity, remediation coordination, rewards, process improvements
• Oversee full lifecycle from discovery to resolution, including triage, impact assessment, engineering coordination, and communication
• Lead the security disclosure program from triage to disclosure
• Report on program health and status
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows, governance, and communication of vulnerabilities and risks




• Work with Engineering, IT, Product, Legal, and Security on cross-functional initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers on incident response, investigations, and remediation
• Partner with leadership to drive proactive threat detection and vulnerability management

Responsabilidades
• 6+ years of information security experience with focus on product security, application security, vulnerability management, and security operations
• Experience conducting security code reviews to identify vulnerabilities
• Experience with application security vulnerabilities and product security concepts
• Experience in risk management and handling product-related incident response
• Knowledge of incident and log management tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including technical writing and executive presentations
