Overview

In this role you lead ICP raw material purchasing to align production needs with timely orders and supplier releases. You ensure material availability while controlling inventory and obsolescence, and you support data-driven planning. You will develop the team, improve supplier performance, and execute purchasing in line with sourcing strategies. This position combines hands-on MRP execution with leadership to prevent line disruptions and drive continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

- MRP execution and material availability ensuring PO placement, supplier confirmations, and recovery of past-due items
- Lead supplier delivery reviews, validate capacity, and coordinate with Logistics and QA to avoid disruptions
- Own raw material inventory performance, review lead times, min orders, and safety stocks with data owners
- People and performance leadership: set priorities, coach, and manage budgets; run KPI reviews and staffing plans




- Purchasing controls and continuous improvement: ensure accurate POs, approved prices, auditable records, and close audit findings
- Other duties as assigned

Requisitos principales

- 7+ years in manufacturing purchasing/materials planning, including 3+ years leading a team
- Bachelor in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
- Strong MRP, SAP purchasing/material planning, inventory policies, and PO management
- Proven results in material availability, supplier delivery, inventory reduction, and premium freight prevention
- Ability to analyze demand, capacity, lead times, and cost tradeoffs; proficient in Excel; Power BI preferred
- Excellent supplier escalation, negotiation within authority, root cause analysis, and project management
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
