In this role you will shape the design and evolution of Elastic's Cloud offerings by guiding architecture and leading development on the Control Plane - Hosted. You will work in a distributed, global team to deliver reliable, scalable features and a strong user experience. You will drive technical plans, collaborate across product teams, and help diagnose and fix complex failure scenarios. This position offers the chance to influence SaaS infrastructure at scale and contribute to Elastic's mission of AI-powered search and observability.

Responsabilidades
- Guide cross-team technical designs and help create a team-wide high level architecture
- Lead best practices for development, ensuring a reliable, scalable foundation and an engaging user experience for our customers
- Contribute and lead technical plans and direction within our team and across other product teams in Elastic
- Be part of a distributed team of engineers from all across the globe
- Collaborate with other teams within Elastic, including supporting engineering diagnostics and advising Elasticsearch feature design
Requisitos principales
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience providing pragmatic technical leadership for a group of engineers
- Knowledge of back-end languages such as Scala, Java or Go
- Technical depth in SaaS-relevant technologies (orchestration, networking, containers, etc.)
- Passion for automation and quality
