Overview

As Legal Counsel, Privacy you help safeguard user and rider data while enabling Delivery Hero’s growth. You will advise on privacy across products, marketing, and platform operations from the Global Data Protection Office in Barcelona. You’ll lead and support DPIAs, address regulatory changes, and partner with stakeholders to implement compliant practices, including AI governance considerations. This role offers impact across international jurisdictions and a hands-on, collaborative approach to evolving privacy frameworks.

Responsabilidades

- Provide expert, risk-based privacy advice to the business on new products, initiatives, and operational changes
- Support rider privacy matters, including EU Platform Work Directive algorithmic management provisions and GDPR automated decision-making requirements
- Perform and support data protection impact assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks in employment and platform processes
- Partner with internal stakeholders on marketing initiatives, advising on adtech compliance across jurisdictions
- Develop, implement,



and maintain global privacy policies, statements, and internal procedures
- Manage and support investigations or fine-related proceedings with data protection authorities, including mitigation plans
- Monitor AI governance developments and contribute to AI governance frameworks ensuring responsible use and regulatory compliance

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years in privacy with exposure to marketing topics and/or algorithmic management in the context of platform work
- Excellent English language skills; German/Spanish/Italian/Polish is a plus
- Experience advising tech companies and data-driven businesses across multiple jurisdictions is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management with cross-cultural influence
- Comfortable defining compliance strategies in novel or evolving legal frameworks (e.g., algorithmic management, platform work regulation)
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset; able to manage issues end-to-end
- Certified expertise on EU privacy laws (IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, TÜV DPO, etc.) is a plus
