In this role you validate complex KYC/KYB cases for the Spanish market, applying Banco de España guidelines to approve or escalate onboarding decisions. You work closely with Anti-Financial Crime, AML and Fraud teams to ground decisions in risk analysis. You communicate regulatory requirements clearly to clients, preserving a positive customer experience. You will drive process improvements to shorten validation lead times while maintaining high-quality decisions. Responsabilidades
- Validate complex customer and company profiles, including ownership structures and business models, to make compliant account-opening decisions
- Review KYC/KYB documentation across the lifecycle (passports, DNIs, company registrations, financial statements, proof of address)
- Communicate with Spanish clients to unblock cases and explain regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Anti-Financial Crime, AML, and Fraud teams on exceptions, escalations, and risk signals
- Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements to reduce lead time and maintain a 99.5% quality target
Requisitos principales
- 1–3 years in KYC/KYB, customer care, compliance, fintech, banking, or regulated customer operations
- Analytical rigour with the ability to review complex legal documents and make structured decisions
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish; English as internal language for communication
- Proactive ownership mindset and ability to escalate appropriately
