Overview

In this role, you will shape hyperscale services and cloud-native architectures to support scalable, multi-region deployments. You will own PostgreSQL-based solutions and automate deployments at scale, aligning with Schwarz Digits’ mission of digital sovereignty. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver a robust PostgreSQL-focused product and manage sovereign Kubernetes environments. This position offers impact through building scalable, secure data platforms that empower customers and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

- Design, develop, and maintain hyperscale services using Golang with multi-region replication support
- Design and implement automated PostgreSQL deployments and lifecycle management via PostgreSQL Operators in Kubernetes
- Oversee PostgreSQL databases at development and administration levels, optimizing performance and data integrity




- Take technical ownership of the PostgreSQL Flex product to enable easy migrations for customers
- Manage deployments, resilience, and lifecycle operations in a sovereign Kubernetes environment

Requisitos principales

- Extensive experience as Software Engineer, Cloud Developer, or Database Engineer
- Strong hands-on programming in Golang
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, and cloud-native operations
- Proven experience with PostgreSQL databases at development or administration level
- Experience with PostgreSQL Operators in a cloud environment
- Visionary mindset, problem-solving ability, and team player attitude
- Business fluency in English (German a plus)
