In this role, you will bridge creative vision and technical execution to translate design briefs into proprietary brand signatures while upholding quality, sustainability, and efficiency. You will own rapid development cycles in a luxury leather environment, ensuring on-time delivery without compromising handfeel and color integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ESG practices and regulatory compliance in supplier operations. Responsabilidades
- Lead end-to-end development cycles from design brief to industrialization, optimizing innovation lead times while honoring milestone calendars and quality standards.
- Translate creative vision into brand signatures by directing exclusive touches, finishes, color depth, and natural aging characteristics for consistent Maison finishes in bulk production.
- Oversee quality assurance and technical validation through rigorous testing, root-cause analysis, and handbag construction considerations.
- Manage suppliers and cross-functional decision-making while embedding ESG practices, traceability, and regulatory compliance in daily operations.
Requisitos principales
- 15+ years of experience in leather development, research, and tanning in a fast-paced luxury setting
- Deep knowledge of tanning, finishing, grading, and leather behavior in handbag construction
- Strong eye for luxury aesthetics, handfeel, grain, and color nuance
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional influence with ability to translate briefs into precise technical specs
- Fluency in English and Spanish; Italian and/or French a strong advantage
