Overview

As Technical Lead Assay Development, you will steer global, cross-functional diagnostic programs and provide hands-on technical leadership to a lab team developing IVD assays. You’ll balance R&D; results, drive innovations and foster agile collaboration on the Elecsys/cobas e platform. Your work will shape strategic decisions while advancing core assay technologies. This role blends scientific excellence with leadership to deliver impactful diagnostic solutions.

Responsabilidades

- Lead complex, integral cross-functional projects with long-term impact and interface management
- Provide technical guidance to a laboratory team and align competency requirements with leads
- Prepare data-driven analyses to support key decisions and assess project risks
- Monitor emerging diagnostic trends and propose IVD-focused applications
- Foster partnerships across internal departments and external collaborators
- Present R&D; findings to committees and support scientific publications




- Design and execute innovative solutions beyond established frameworks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Product Owners on schedules
- Contribute to PI planning and ensure effective technical oversight
- Develop technical leadership community across customer areas

Requisitos principales

- 5–7 years of professional experience in developing diagnostic solutions or a PhD in Biochemistry or related field
- Experience in assay development or IVD solution design and in technical supervision/mentorship
- Experience providing technical direction within a complex matrix organization
- Business-fluent English
