TK Elevator (TKE) is a global leader in vertical transportation and urban mobility, providing engineering — from design through installation, maintenance and modernization — for elevators, escalators, moving walkways, passenger boarding bridges, stairlifts, platform lifts and home elevators. From our engineering and manufacturing site in Mieres, Asturias, TKAS offers a full portfolio of airport apron and gate mobility solutions. Our passenger boarding bridges connect terminals to aircraft safely and efficiently. Our ground support equipment covers preconditioned air, ground power units and potable water units for aircraft turnaround. Our advanced visual docking guidance systems (A-VDGS), including the LiDAR-based Apron Vision, ensure precise and safe aircraft docking. Our digital solutions — MAX Automate, MAX Monitor & Control and MAX Maintenance Manager — bring AI and remote operation to the apron.

We also provide modernization and service programs, including upgrades and spare parts that extend equipment life and performance, and we adapt this same engineering expertise to seaports, with our Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBB) for ferry and cruise terminals.

Our equipment is used at more than 370 airports in over 100 countries, and TK Elevator boarding bridges have carried over 1.8 billion passengers worldwide.

What we expect

The main job duties of the Health, Safety and Environmental Officer are the following ones.
1. To conduct site inspections to watch over the work site situation on daily basis.
2.



To conduct safety improvement inspections with the client on weekly basis.
3. To verify that tools and equipment are certified and registered on weekly basis.
4. To verify that PPEs are maintained clean and tidy through inspections and audits on weekly basis.
5. To report QHSE statistics on monthly basis.
6. To monitor through safety register log on daily basis.
7. To support others to eliminate / minimize the environmental impacts associated with the company activity on ad hoc basis.
8. To comply with the Airport Safety and Security Rules and Regulations and the internal safety rules and procedures of TKE on daily basis.
9. To wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times when working at site on ad hoc basis.

Who we are looking for

- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification

- Proven experience in implementing Health, Safety & Environmental management systems

- Strong knowledge of risk assessments, incident investigations, and hazard identification

- Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and safety training

- Familiarity with local regulations and international HSE standards

- Excellent communication and reporting skills

- Ability to promote a proactive safety culture and influence all levels of the organization
