Purpose

This role transforms requirements into software according to design, to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.

Key Missions

- Uses programming, scripting and database languages to write software code that meets requirements and that optimizes software performances
- Identifies existing software components, libraries and frameworks to reuse in the solutions
- Applies knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Contributes to requirement (functional and non-functional) analysis and estimations
- Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
- Builds up software structure including functions, design patterns, layers, etc.




- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing code comments, layouts, diagrams and charts
- Contributes to Software architecture (specification analysis, technical studies, technology assessment, etc.)
- Codes large and complex modules within agreed quality, deadline and cost
- Performs design and code reviews and assess software performance optimization
- Contributes and promotes the organization's technical governance
- Performs complex troubleshooting
- Coaches and can manage a small team of Software Development Engineers

Profile & Other Information

Required

- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum4-5years of experience in software developmentfor commercial software products. For a senior profile, broader experience in complex enterprise systems would be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong backend development experience withJava EE 17 or higher.
- Good knowledge ofSpring FrameworkandSpring Boot.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services in production environments.
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices
- Practical experience withAI-assisted software development tools,



or strong motivation to actively adopt them in daily engineering work.
- Ability to introduce and promote AI-supported development practices within the team
- Ability to evaluate where AI can bring measurable productivity improvements in the software development lifecycle.
- Capacity to act as anAI championwithin the engineering team by helping other developers use AI tools effectively, responsibly, and securely.
- Ability to contribute to the design of a modern development process integrating AI tools into analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and support activities.
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English
- Databases: MySQL
- Tools: JIRA, git, maven, Jenkins, Confluence

- Ability to define team guidelines, best practices, and repeatable workflows for AI-assisted development.
- Experience mentoring developers or supporting adoption of new engineering practices.
