The Opportunity

Tusk Talent is partnering with a leading European renewable energy company to recruit an ambitious M&A; Manager to strengthen its growing investment and acquisitions team.

Our client is an established developer and operator of renewable energy infrastructure, with an expanding European portfolio and ambitious plans for further growth through strategic acquisitions, partnerships and project development.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in identifying, evaluating and executing investment opportunities across European renewable energy markets, working closely with senior M&A; leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support predominantly buy-side M&A; transactions, from initial target identification and engagement through due diligence, completion and post-acquisition integration.
- Develop investment rationales, transaction proposals and financial assessments for potential acquisitions.
- Build, maintain and optimise financial models, valuations and investment scenarios.
- Coordinate key financial, commercial, legal and technical due diligence workstreams with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
- Manage transaction timelines, deliverables and key milestones to support successful execution.
- Support post-merger integration planning to maximise the strategic and operational value of acquired assets.
- Monitor emerging renewable energy markets, regulatory developments and investment opportunities across Europe.
- Evaluate potential partnerships and joint venture structures, supporting negotiations and commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with business development, finance and project teams on investment papers,



project financing and strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, project owners and other relevant market participants.

Candidate Profile

- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Ideally 2–3 years or more of relevant experience in M&A;, transaction advisory, corporate development, project finance or investment analysis.
- Previous experience within renewable energy, energy infrastructure or a comparable sector.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis capabilities.
- Understanding of transaction processes, including due diligence, commercial assessment and deal execution.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling tools.
- Fluent English; Spanish and other European languages are advantageous.
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in an international, growth-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel across Europe when required.

Experience in biogas, biomethane, renewable gas infrastructure or renewable energy is idóneo for the role.
