A new position for a GSE (Ground Support Equipment) Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defense & Space in Getafe (Madrid area). SIRTAP, Eurodrone and FCAS (Future Combat Air System)GSE is an engineering department in charge of the identification, design, development and validation on aircraft of all ground support equipment needed for the operation and maintenance of the aircrafts in the customer operations.
Additionally, it also provides technical support to the Customer in the daily use of the GSEs at the Air Bases.
GSE is a key activity for the company as our equipment are used every day in every aircraft and in all Customers around the world.
The position is part of the Services Organization (TAS) within Airbus Defence and Space, and in particular in TASSE6 (Ground Support Equipment)The main task and responsibilities for the position are:Preparation of GSE Technical SpecificationsTechnical support to supplier selectionDesign follow-upPrototype Manufacturing follow-upValidation of the equipment on the aircraftQualification and Compatibility TestsOther tasks to be performed:Evaluations (Site Surveys) of the Customer existing capabilities concerning GSEProvide technical assistance to the CustomersSupport on installation and commissioning of GSEs at customer MOBAnalysis of A/C modification and the impact on developed GSEsSkills:Fluent English/Spanish (oral,
