Teach English in Spain as a Language Assistant at private schools nationwide, through TEFL UK's partner programme Meddeas. Assist classroom teachers and lead conversation activities with small groups of students aged 3 to 18, for 20 to 24 hours a week. Placements start in September, October or January and run until late May or mid-June. Package: monthly stipend of €409 to €1,306, no programme fees (refundable €850 deposit), host family or independent accommodation, a funded ESL Graduate Certificate from a Spanish university, Spanish National Healthcare System coverage, paid school holidays, visa and pre-departure support, and a school-based tutor.
Requirements:
bachelor's degree of at least three years in any subject obtained in 2023 or later, native-level English, clean criminal record, and a 120-hour TEFL certificate or equivalent. No Spanish or teaching experience required.
