In this role you will:

As the Head of papernest Energía , you will own the entire Energía customer portfolio: driving its growth, maximizing retention, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will act as a fully autonomous owner of the scope within your first 6 months, taking charge of how every commercial decision impacts the portfolio in a highly cross‐functional, hands‐on position.

Your responsibilities:

You'll take part in a wide variety of challenges, from strategic analysis to direct operational execution, leading the long‐term success of our energy vertical.

Your role will include:

- Growing the portfolio: Tracking its performance, identifying growth levers, and activating them with the relevant teams.
- Reducing churn: Analyzing why customers leave, prioritizing 2 to 3 retention levers early on, and building measurable retention plans to hit key targets.
- Owning the regulatory scope: Mapping obligations and risks, leading the regulatory watch, ensuring the compliance of processes and contracts, and coordinating closely with the Legal team.
- Working cross‐functionally: Connecting Sales, Operations,



and leadership to ensure all commercial decisions account for their direct impact on the portfolio.
- Managing a direct report: Organizing their workload, developing their skills, and driving their professional growth.
- Executing with autonomy: Quickly mastering the business structure, KPIs, and churn dynamics to present a clear diagnosis to leadership within 2 months, leading to running the scope without day‐to‐day sign‐off within 6 months.

This role combines strategy, regulatory ownership, and highly analytical execution;
perfect for a hands‐on doer who wants to roll up their sleeves, drive initiatives, and make a tangible impact.

We're looking for someone who:

- Is bilingual in Spanish (C2) and highly fluent in English (C2).
- Has 5+ years of proven experience in a fast‐paced, cross‐functional role (e.G., Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or General Management)
- Is a true doer: you execute personally and do not just delegate.
- Possesses strong analytical skills, rigour, and a data‐driven mindset.
- Shows strong leadership and curiosity: you drive initiatives proactively and can become 100% autonomous over time.

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of the Spanish energy market or sector.
- Prior team management experience.
