We are growing fast, and our Finance team plays a key role in supporting this international expansion. We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Barcelona. You will take ownership of the day-to-day accounting activities for your designated scope, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting. Manage daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities. Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations. Take ownership of the General Ledger and ensure accurate and timely accounting records. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting rules, regulations and internal policies. Act as a senior subject matter expert on accounting matters. You will contribute to ensuring that our entities remain fully compliant with local accounting and tax requirements. Manage statutory accounting activities for your designated area. Prepare the information required for monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings. Ensure accounting practices are aligned with local regulations and Group policies. You will also contribute to maintaining strong and efficient AR/AP accounting processes. Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable balances. Support the accounting treatment of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Process Improvement & Finance Transformation You will have the opportunity to go beyond traditional accounting and help shape how our Finance function operates.



Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes. Contribute to the design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Participate in Finance transformation projects and initiatives. Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects and business needs. You will work closely with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders across the organization. Act as a key point of contact for accounting-related questions. Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and provide guidance. Explain accounting procedures and requirements to business stakeholders. Collaborate with Finance teams across different countries and functions. Work with internal and external auditors and support audit processes when required. 6+ years of professional accounting experience , ideally in a similar Senior Accountant / GL Accountant / Financial Accountant role. ~ Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting, reconciliations and financial closing processes . ~ Experience with ERP / Finance systems and ideally involvement in ERP implementation or transformation projects. Advanced Excel skills . ~ Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. ~ Professional proficiency in English . Spanish and/or other languages are a plus.
