Position OverviewWorking as part of a team of process experts, you will be responsible for start-up performance of Decorator/Printer equipment across new builds, new lines, and conversions. The role focuses on achieving targets in efficiency, quality, spoilage, and environmental compliance, while supporting overall line performance.

Key Responsibilities
IncludeLead safe equipment start-up, commissioning, and ramp-upAct as SME for Decorator/Printer, driving stable, high-performance operationDeliver hands-on training to plant teams (primarily on-the-job)Troubleshoot issues and support rapid problem resolution during start-upDrive root cause analysis and continuous improvementValidate SOPs and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food standardsSupport transition from start-up to steady‑state productionAchieve efficiency and spoilage targets for new lines and conversionsWhat We Are Looking ForElectrical or Mechanical qualification or relevant hands‑on experienceStrong expertise in can manufacturing and Decorator/Printer equipmentProven troubleshooting and process optimisation skillsAbility to train and transfer knowledge to othersExperience with start‑ups or line launches (preferred)Strong problem‑solving and basic Lean knowledgeGood communication, teamwork, and ownership mindsetMinimum 5 years’ experience in can manufacturingWork EnvironmentThis role supports central functions and offers flexible work arrangements including hybrid or fully remote options, subject to role requirements and manager approval.
Hiring Range62,300 – 89,690 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies, while taking into account internal equity and industry benchmarks. Please note that the salary range is related to Germany as base location, however relevant local range applies to candidates based in other locations.
