Description As part of our regional consulting team, you will gain broad exposure through working on a variety of projects across different actuarial domains, and with different insurance clients from different markets.

Key Responsibilities
* Work with consultants and project managers on a variety of general insurance client projects, including pricing, data science, predictive analytics, IFRS 17, reserve valuation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A;), and risk and capital management etc.
* Develop and build actuarial models using WTW's market-leading software and apply actuarial techniques to deliver tailored, value-added solutions for our clients.
* Produce, analyse, explain and communicate results and findings, working closely with project managers/leads and other team members to ensure high-quality work is delivered efficiently within established timelines and budgets.
* Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, elevate work quality, and actively pursue continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
* Manage time and workload efficiently across multiple concurrent projects while meeting billable hour targets.
* Support client communications, build trusted advisor relationships through quality execution,
* Assist project manager with project management and workstream coordination,



including project planning and tracking progress against agreed objectives, budgets, timelines, and deliverables, to meet or exceed client expectations
* Collaborate seamlessly as part of a multidisciplinary, cross-functional team to tackle complex client challenges and deliver insightful advice and solutions.
* Assist with business development activities such as proposal drafting and software demos, or proposition development, where required at times Qualifications The Requirements
* Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a relevant quantitative field
* Fresh grads, or experienced hires of up to 2 years of actuarial experience.
* Good progress in actuarial exams with a recognised International actuarial body (e.g. CAS, IFoA)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good time management skills, and able to manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects
* Understanding of general insurance business and market landscape, reserving, IFRS 17, M&A; and/or pricing will be an advantage
* Prior experience with WTW's software (eg. ResQ, ResQ Financial Reporter, Emblem/REA and/or Radar) is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
