Role Description The Senior Accountant role at CoreFi is a full-time, remote position responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial accounting and reporting activities. This role includes managing general ledger entries, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensuring timely reconciliations of accounts such as cash, accruals, and intercompany balances. The Senior Accountant will monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, support budget preparation, and assist with financial planning and analysis. Daily tasks also involve coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors,



maintaining robust internal controls, and contributing to process improvements in our finance operations. This role requires a proactive approach to working in a technology-driven, fast-paced financial services environment. Qualifications
• Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements (IFRS and/or local GAAP experience preferred).
• Experience with financial controls, compliance, and audit support, including familiarity with regulatory requirements in banking or fintech environments.
• Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling), and comfort working with cloud-based tools and digital workflows.
• Background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret data and provide clear insights to leadership.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote, distributed team setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance, product, operations, and compliance teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a strong plus.
• Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or SaaS platforms is highly beneficial; interest in AI-driven and cloud-native financial infrastructure is an advantage.
