Compensation = $2,500 to $3,400 per month, depending on fit. We predominantly hire in Eastern Europe so we're looking for people within this region. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU RESIDE OUTSIDE EUROPE. Growth Partners Media is looking for a Senior SEO Campaign Specialist to own SEO campaigns, build genuinely good links, solve difficult delivery problems and help us raise the standard of our SEO work as we expand beyond off-page SEO. This is a senior role, but it isn't a management role where you'll spend your days in meetings while someone else does the vigente work. You'll still be in the trenches. You'll own campaigns, assess target pages and backlink opportunities, build links, work directly with clients, conduct audits, improve outreach systems and help us figure out what to do when the obvious approach isn't working. We want someone who combines strong execution with strong judgement. Someone who can follow a proven process when it works, but doesn't grind to a halt the moment reality stops matching the SOP. A bit about GPM Growth Partners Media is a UK-founded SEO agency working primarily with SaaS and other B2B companies across the US, UK and international markets. We're fully remote, with team members across the UK and Europe. We've spent years building systems for link acquisition, outreach, partnerships and off-page SEO. We're now expanding that work into a wider SEO offering covering areas like technical SEO, AI search visibility, content strategy and broader organic growth. We're serious about doing excellent work without becoming an overly corporate agency. You'll find plenty of processes, documentation, tools and support here. You'll also find banter, experimentation, direct communication and people who genuinely care about getting better at what they do. We don't expect perfection. We do expect ownership. If something isn't working, we want the person who asks why, investigates it, tries something different and comes back with a recommendation. What this role actually looks like You'll have your own client campaigns and be responsible for moving them forward. A large part of the role will still involve link building. That includes prospecting, outreach, relationship building, guest posts, niche edits, Brand Mentions, community placements and finding creative ways to secure relevant authority for the pages we're trying to grow. But we're deliberately hiring someone with broader SEO capability. You'll also get involved in target-page strategy, keyword research, off-page audits, technical and general SEO audits, AI visibility work and client strategy. Over time, we'd expect you to become one of the people the rest of the team can turn to when a campaign becomes difficult. What success looks like After you've settled into the role, we'd expect to see things like:
• Your campaigns move without us constantly chasing them. Deadlines are planned properly and risks are raised before they become problems.
• The links you build make sense strategically. You understand the target page, keyword, anchor profile, relevance and commercial objective rather than treating every backlink as interchangeable.
• When an outreach campaign isn't working, you diagnose the problem and change the approach instead of waiting for someone else to fix it.
• You can look at a domain or placement and explain why it's a good opportunity, rather than pointing only to DR or traffic.
• You notice problems other people miss.
• You can conduct off-page audits independently and increasingly contribute to wider technical,
general SEO and AI visibility audits.
• You can confidently explain recommendations to clients without hiding behind jargon.
• You bring ideas to the table. New outreach angles, better systems, stronger workflows, opportunities we're overlooking.
• Your feedback helps other SEO Specialists improve without creating dependence on you.
• Difficult client work doesn't automatically need to land on the founder's desk. Your responsibilities You’ll be expected to:
• Own complex SEO and off-page campaigns from planning through delivery.
• Personally acquire high-quality backlinks rather than simply managing people who do.
• Conduct backlink, competitor and off-page SEO analysis.
• Review target pages, anchor strategies and link opportunities.
• Run and improve outreach campaigns.
• Develop creative outreach angles and new ways of growing our link-opportunity pipeline.
• Work across Authority Links, Brand Mentions and community-led placements.
• Conduct off-page SEO audits independently.
• Contribute to technical SEO, general SEO and AI visibility audits.
• Support wider SEO and AI search strategy as your knowledge develops.
• Conduct periodic target-page reviews and identify opportunities or risks.
• Work directly with clients through written communication and occasional video calls.
• Lead selected client strategy conversations where senior SEO input is useful.
• Coach other SEO Specialists through difficult campaign problems.
• Identify recurring weaknesses in our campaigns and help improve the underlying process.
• Spot capability gaps, new opportunities and better ways of doing things.
• Keep campaign tracking, reporting and project information accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with our Operations Lead and wider delivery team. The kind of person we're looking for We're looking for someone with around 3–6+ years of genuine SEO experience, including substantial hands-on link-building and off-page SEO experience. The exact number of years matters less than what you've actually done. You should be able to show us campaigns you've owned, difficult problems you've solved and decisions you've made. You'll probably do well here if:
- You're an excellent problem solver. When something doesn't work, your instinct is to investigate it.
- You're unusually conscientious. You notice small things. You don't repeatedly make the same mistake after feedback.
- You have real link-building experience. You understand prospecting, outreach, editorial placements, anchor text, backlink profiles, topical relevance and what separates a genuinely useful link from a vanity placement.
- You're broader than link building. You understand enough technical SEO, content, keyword research and search strategy to see how off-page SEO fits into the bigger picture.
- You're comfortable making decisions. We don't want someone who needs approval for every judgment call.
- You communicate early. If something is going wrong, we want to know while there's still time to do something about it.
- You're curious. Search is changing quickly. AI search,
LLM visibility and buyer research behaviour are changing with it. You should genuinely want to understand what's happening.
- You use AI well. We use tools like ChatGPT throughout our workflows, but we're interested in people who use AI to think and work better rather than blindly accepting whatever it produces.
- You can deal with ambiguity. SEO doesn't always behave nicely. Publishers disappear. Outreach stops converting. Opportunities dry up. Rankings move. Clients change priorities. That's part of the work.
- You care about the end result. Finishing a task isn't the same thing as producing a good outcome. This role probably isn't for you if…
• You want a senior title because you'd rather stop doing hands-on SEO.
• You prefer waiting for a manager to tell you exactly what to do next.
• You treat DR as a substitute for judging link quality.
• You get frustrated when processes need to change.
• You don't like client-facing work.
• You consistently need someone else to catch the small details. Or you want an agency where doing exactly what's written in the SOP is enough. What you'll get from GPM You'll work directly with a small, experienced team rather than disappearing into a 100-person agency. You'll have access to the systems and processes we've built over years of running SEO and link-building campaigns. You'll work closely with the founder and other senior people in the company, with plenty of exposure to how we think about strategy, positioning, campaigns and growth. You'll also have room to expand beyond off-page SEO into things like:
• Technical SEO
• AI SEO and AI visibility
• SEO audits
• Content strategy
• Client strategy
• Process development
• New service development We've now introduced a clear career progression framework too. The path from this role can move toward SEO Campaign Lead / SEO Strategist / Head of SEO as your capability grows. Progression here isn't about sitting around for a certain number of years. It's based on the quality of your work, judgement, autonomy, problem-solving ability and the impact you have on clients and the team. You'll also get
• Fully remote working
• Flexible
working hours
• Extensive training and knowledge sharing
• Direct access to senior SEO expertise
• Interesting B2B and SaaS clients
• A team that actually enjoys working together
• Room to experiment and improve the way we work
• We're also piloting a 4-day working week with a good chance this will become a permanent fixture of GPM working practice.
How to apply
Please send us: 1. Your CV 2. A short note explaining why this particular role interests you Don't send us a generic cover letter written for 40 different SEO jobs. 3. A 4-6 minute Loom video Choose any B2B company you don't currently work with. Spend a few minutes looking at the website and talk us through: What are the three most interesting SEO opportunities or problems you can see? What would you investigate next, and why? You don't need to perform a full audit. We're interested in how you think. You can talk about technical SEO, content, links, target pages, search visibility, AI visibility or anything else you think matters. There isn't necessarily one correct answer. We'd much rather hear an interesting argument we disagree with than five minutes of generic SEO advice. What happens next If the initial application looks promising: Stage 1 — Structured interview Stage 2 — Competency assessment Stage 3 — Paid practical trial Stage 4 — Final conversation
