Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position at Astrea AJE is a full-time, on-site role based in Valencia. The CEO will be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the association, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that cultural, leisure, and technological initiatives are aligned with organizational goals. This role includes managing budgets, leading finance and operations activities, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners. The CEO will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, drive membership growth, and represent Astrea AJE in meetings, events,



and public forums. The CEO will also guide business planning efforts, monitor performance metrics, and support the professional development of team members. Qualifications
• Strong Finance and Business Planning skills to manage budgets, allocate resources, and support long-term sustainability.
• Experience in Operations Management and Strategic Planning to oversee daily activities and define organizational priorities.
• Proven ability in Sales and stakeholder relationship management to expand partnerships, sponsorships, and membership engagement.
• Leadership, team management, and decision-making skills to guide a diverse group of young entrepreneurs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the association to external audiences.
• Background in cultural, leisure, or technology sectors is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field; advanced studies are a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English are advantageous for local and international collaboration.
