As a Customs u0026amp; Trade Compliance Specialist at World Courier, you ensure import/export customs operations run smoothly and in full regulatory compliance. You will coordinate clearance across our global network, handling documentation and liaising with authorities and service providers. Your work supports the movement of highly regulated healthcare products worldwide. You will work with a leading, international healthcare logistics leader to enable timely, compliant shipments and patient access.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Manage import and export customs declarations using EDI systems and customs platforms
• Prepare customs documentation, tariff classifications and customs valuation in compliance with regulations
• Coordinate customs clearance activities for pharmaceutical, biological, controlled and other regulated products
• Monitor shipments from origin to final delivery, ensuring timely customs processing and visibility
• Communicate with customers, customs authorities, airlines,
brokers and World Courier offices globally
• Support specialized clearances requiring permits, inspections or regulatory approvals
• Maintain accurate customs records, electronic files and compliance documentation
• Monitor customs charges, airfreight costs and shipment-related expenses
• Ensure compliance with World Courier SOPs, customs regulations and trade requirements
• Investigate and resolve customs or shipment-related issues to minimize disruptions
Responsabilidades
• Experience in Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Logistics or International Trade
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, TARIC and Incoterms
• Experience handling customs clearance for regulated products is highly desirable
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or time-critical logistics environments is a plus
• Fluent English and Spanish required
