Experteer Overview
In this role you will strengthen Sonova’s global Quality Management System by leading internal audits across international entities. You will turn audit findings into sustainable improvements, collaborating with diverse teams to support safe, compliant, and innovative hearing care solutions. The position offers broad exposure to integral operations and ~40% travel, with influence over audit practices across multiple Sonova entities. You will shape risk-based audit plans, drive corrective actions, and contribute to a culture of quality and integrity.

• Lead internal QMS audits from planning to follow-up
• Prepare risk-based audit plans covering scope, standards, and sampling methods
• Review pre-audit information for regulatory compliance across entities
• Interview stakeholders, gather evidence, and classify findings by risk
• Communicate audit outcomes and assess corrective actions with site management
• Coordinate cross-functional audit teams and ensure consistent evidence collection
• Support auditor qualification, checklist development, and ongoing audit program effectiveness





Responsabilidades
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in quality management, engineering, life sciences, medical technology, regulatory affairs or related discipline
• At least five years in Quality Management Systems or regulatory affairs, preferably in medical devices
• Formal training in ISO 13485, ISO 9001, MDSAP, EU MDR; Lead Auditor certification
• Strong knowledge of core quality processes (audits, CAPA, non-conformances, change control) with a risk-based approach
• High integrity, independence, resilience, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Clear, respectful communication, active listening, interviewing, facilitation, and conflict resolution in multicultural environments
• Fluent business English; Portuguese or Spanish is a plus
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% globally
