Experteer Overview
In this role you drive the growth of BYD Energy Storage’s utility-scale battery energy storage systems in Spain. You will lead sales from prospecting to closure, collaborating with engineering and regulatory teams to deliver customer-focused grid solutions. You’ll engage utilities, grid operators, and developers to ensure compliant, end-to-end deployments that support a zero-emission future. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the BESS business with utilities and renewable developers
• Manage full sales cycle from lead qualification to proposal and closing
• Build relationships with stakeholders in the energy sector including utilities and regulators
• Ensure BESS installations meet local and international grid compliance standards
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and transmission operators for grid integration
• Stay updated on grid codes, transmission requirements,



and energy storage regulations
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and Ru0026D to deliver customer-focused solutions

Responsabilidades
• Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (background)
• 3–5 years in renewable energy technical support, sales, or project management focusing on BESS/PCS/EMS
• Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid compliance (IEC, IEEE)
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and grid codes for energy storage integration
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
• Fluent in Spanish with working proficiency in English
