As a Medior Backend Software Engineer, you will help build NextPort.AI’s cloud-based solutions for ports and terminals, focusing on scalable Java Spring Boot microservices and data-driven features. You’ll collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers across design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The role emphasizes reliable RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations with Kafka, and continuous improvement of code quality. • Design, develop, and maintain features using Java Spring Boot
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to Kafka-based integrations
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and raise development standards

Responsabilidades
• Minimum 3 years of professional Java software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing, developing, or consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication
• Knowledge of clean code principles and best practices
• Experience with automated testing for frontend and backend
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
