Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead Preply’s IT organization, shaping a multi-quarter roadmap and elevating IT to enable growth at global scale. You will implement AI-native operations, drive automation, and partner closely with C-level stakeholders to improve efficiency, cost control, and employee experience. You’ll build a lean, capable team and stay hands-on with scripting, automation, and identity/MDM configurations. This is a chance to transform IT into a strategic, impact-oriented function in a unicorn-stage company.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own and evolve a multi-quarter IT roadmap aligned with business goals
• Set tooling strategy across the organization and rationalize tools
• Lead a hands-on, technically capable IT function while guiding leadership decisions
• Manage international fleet and device lifecycle, including procurement and enrollment
• Oversee identity, access, and endpoint management for a distributed workforce
• Own IT security controls, SOX readiness and SOC 2 compliance
• Partner with Finance on FinOps, vendor renewals, and cost visibility
• Develop dashboards and reports for leadership on IT health and spend
• Collaborate with Security on AI tool governance and access control




• Coordinate on-site IT at Barcelona hub and support off-sites/events
• Build operational rhythm with SLAs, runbooks, and prioritization
• Ensure data-driven decision making and clear communication with executives

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years leading and growing IT teams in a fast-scaling tech company
• Architect and operator with hands-on scripting, automation and identity systems
• Experience managing international fleet, device management (MDM), and identity
• Strong FinOps and software spend management capabilities
• AI-first, automate-first mindset with practical tooling experience
• Proven ability to influence senior, C-level stakeholders
• Data-driven with dashboards and proactive stakeholder updates
• Commitment to security and compliance hygiene
• Professional fluency in English
• Nice to have: remote/global distribution experience and cloud stack familiarity
