Experteer Overview
In this role you will design, build and operate shared Java backend platforms that empower multiple teams to create games and services. You’ll tackle high-traffic, scalable systems, delivering reliable APIs and reusable components. Expect to collaborate across engineers, product partners, and teams to evolve platform capabilities while reducing technical debt. You’ll own initiatives from discussion through production support, shaping resilient, maintainable services that teams can easily integrate.

• Develop and maintain Java backend services and platform capabilities used across King
• Design reliable, reusable APIs and components for easy integration by other developers
• Improve performance, scalability and resilience under significant load
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate needs into practical platform solutions
• Investigate production issues and enhance monitoring, troubleshooting and reliability




• Evolve architecture, manage compatibility and reduce technical debt incrementally
• Build security and quality into everyday engineering decisions
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge sharing

Responsabilidades
• Strong hands-on backend Java experience
• Experience designing, implementing and debugging multithreaded Java systems
• Experience building and operating distributed systems under high load
• Understanding of performance tuning and scalability
• Experience designing APIs and evolving services used by other teams
• Commitment to readable code, testing and maintainable software
• DevOps mindset with ownership of services throughout their lifecycle
• Clear communication and collaborative problem solving
