Experteer Overview
In this role you will own and advance External Aircraft Performance Models (BADA/ANP) within Airbus. You will bridge governance with technical validation, driving improvements to performance modeling used for flight operations and safety. You’ll develop automation tools in Python, manage data generation and validation, and monitor the external modelling ecosystem to identify opportunities and risks. You will contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional environment shaping performance analyses for airlines and stakeholders. This position offers the chance to influence long-term model roadmaps and data-driven decision making in a critical domain.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Act as primary focal point for external governance with partners and internal stakeholders, handling queries, licensing, decision boards, and roadmaps
• Design studies for technical validation and risk assessment by comparing external model outputs to Airbus reference data and quantify deviations
• Develop and maintain internal automation tools in Python to support model comparison, validation, and assessment




• Manage ANP dataset generation and validation for EASA and internal stakeholders ensuring quality
• Monitor the ecosystem landscape (TIM, Piano, OpenAP, EU Flight Label, EEA, CO2 calculators) to spot service opportunities and risks
• Foster internal knowledge sharing by creating technical notes, usage guidelines, and best practices

Responsabilidades
• Education: Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience: u003e3 years in aircraft performance modeling or similar engineering environments
• Technical: Advanced Python or scripting language proficiency; analytical rigor in data comparison
• Languages: Advanced English
• Soft: Project management, proactive opportunity identification, effective technical communication
