In this Backend/Full Stack role, you will contribute to NextPort.AI’s cloud-based applications that enable data integration, digitalization, and AI-driven decision-making for ports and terminals. You’ll work within a cross-functional development team to design, implement, test, and deploy scalable microservices and web interfaces. The position focuses on Java Spring Boot back end and Angular front end in a microservices setup, with emphasis on reliability and maintainability. You’ll help advance the 360 Operational Digital Twin initiative, delivering value through data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and resilience in the maritime industry. • Design, develop and maintain web features using Java (Spring Boot)
• Participate in full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to event-driven integrations using Kafka
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and raise standards across the team
• Implement intuitive and responsive UIs based on UX/UI designs

Responsabilidades
• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with Java
• Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience with Angular
• Hands-on Angular and TypeScript experience
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing or consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of microservices and asynchronous communication
• Knowledge of clean code and software development best practices
• Experience with automated testing for frontend and backend
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with good communication and collaboration
• English fluency, both spoken and written
• Background check post-offer per NIST 800-171
