Experteer Overview
As Staff Software Engineer, you anchor and shape the technical direction for autonomous security agents within Google Cloud Security. You’ll architect large-scale infrastructure, drive safety and performance, and mentor engineers while bridging AI research with production-grade security solutions. You’ll influence cross-functional decisions and collaborate with leadership to push AI-driven cyber defense forward at scale.

• Define the technical strategy, roadmap, and outlook for autonomous AI agents and platforms within Security and Privacy (Threat Intelligence)
• Architect and lead development of large-scale agentic infrastructure with safety, security, and performance boundaries
• Mentor mid-level and executive engineers to uphold high standards in code quality, design docs, and reliability
• Influence product and engineering decisions by bridging AI research and production-grade security apps
• Collaborate with executive leadership across Google Cloud Security and the wider Google ecosystem to act as a technical anchor
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in software development
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products
• 5 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management)
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
