Experteer Overview
In this role you design and secure ground segment architectures for satellite navigation systems, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to support missions like Galileo and LEO PNT. You will define security models, review documentation, and ensure security-by-design across systems and interfaces. You’ll interact with ESA and subcontractors to align security strategies and drive risk management. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with broad impact on mission reliability and security.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Define the security architecture of ground segments (control centres and interfaces) in collaboration with engineers in networks, hardware, software, and operations
• Generate and review security documentation (designs, plans, technical notes)
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to define the security model (OS choice, hardening, deviations)
• Liaise between cybersecurity and other technical teams for alignment
• Contribute to processes that establish security by design




• Identify potential risks and system threats
• Provide technical support to segment teams and customers
• Engage with ESA and European subcontractors during reviews and milestones
• Evolve the security strategy for the ground segment

Responsabilidades
• Background in cybersecurity architectures
• Experience with security architectures of complex IT systems
• Experience in secure network designs
• Experience in cybersecurity and risk management
• Experience in virtualization architectures
• Good English level
• Space sector experience or experience in related security architectures from other domains
