Experteer Overview
In this role, you support ABB’s Hydro and Ring Motor Engineering team by performing mechanical calculations and leading FEM analyses to ensure designs meet ABB standards. You will work with cross-functional partners to resolve technical issues, document calculations, and help standardize mechanical solutions. The role offers hands-on engineering impact within a collaborative, learning-focused environment and aligns with ABB’s sustainable, world-running mission.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Perform analytical mechanical calculations of components and structures under supervision
• Develop and execute finite element analysis (FEA) models and interpret results
• Collaborate to resolve technical queries from Projects, Service, Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing
• Review and update technical documentation, calculation reports, specifications, and procedures
• Monitor equipment manufacturing and assembly; analyze deviations and propose solutions




• Prepare technical reports and present results of mechanical calculations
• Participate in technical coordination meetings with multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to standardization of mechanical solutions and generate lessons learned

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering
• Experience in mechanical calculation related to electrical rotating machines
• Experience in FEM analysis (Ansys or similar)
• Experience in 3D Design programs (Autodesk Inventor or similar) is a plus

• Strong English proficiency

• Driving license is a plus
