In this role you will advance cost-aware planning for vehicle programmes within European sites, helping to shape programme profitability and make/buy decisions. You will work closely with Vehicle Operations Manufacturing Engineering to define study assumptions and coordinate responses to project preparation requests. You will analyze programme content, costs, and production methods to identify cost-saving alternatives and support strategic gate reviews. Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Manufacturing project planning for product programmes and associated cost studies ahead of programme approval for European sites
• Analyse programme content regarding changes, affected departments, alternative sites, depth of production, degree of automation and required product information
• Define study assumptions for Vehicle Operations Manufacturing Engineering and prepare, issue and coordinate responses to Project Preparation Request (PPR)
• Investigate and optimise programme cost in current running/in-flight programmes and conduct part studies regarding compatibility




• Prepare business cases (make/buy studies) to support programme profitability
• Identify and implement corrections as required
• Monitor and assess cost impact on the overall programme in event of product and process changes; develop alternatives with calculations
• Assess cost reduction alternatives, track and report cost development in current programmes
• Analyse planned changes regarding need and economics of the planned production method; develop cost-efficient alternatives with respective areas
• Analyse complex communication processes and soft spots between areas involved in programmes, define new processes
• Analyse and prepare data to compare cost effects
• Support Supervisor, Vehicle Operations and Senior Analyst in delivering programme requirements and approval cadence
• Support the preparation of strategy briefing documents and Gateway review papers for programme approval, under Senior Analyst guidance
• Provide support to the change management process, ensuring proper and timely tracking and reporting of manufacturing impact effects
