About the company and the Valencia office

Our client is a Dutch market leader in the construction sector, specializing in ventilation technology for complex residential building projects. The company operates from several locations in the Netherlands and is in a phase of focused growth and professionalization.

As the company grows, so does the demand for engineering capacity. To keep pace with and accelerate this growth, it is setting up a new engineering office in Valencia, Spain. The goal is to build a team of 10 to 15 BIM modellers and engineers, with the first 10 operational in Q2 2027. As a BIM Modeller, you will be part of the team that builds this office from the ground up.

Purpose of the role

As a BIM Modeller, you create accurate 3D BIM models and drawings of ventilation systems for residential construction projects in the Netherlands. Your work lays the foundation for a successful project: a correct, buildable design, delivered on time and to the right quality for the project teams in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

- Model ventilation systems (air ducts, ventilation units, grilles and penetrations) in Revit, based on designs, schematic diagrams and input from the engineers.
- Develop drawings and models into detailed workshop and installation drawings for execution on site in the Netherlands.
- Clash control against the models of the architect, structural engineer and other installers, and resolve conflicts in consultation with the engineers.
- Work according to the company's BIM methodology and modelling standards (Revit families, templates, checklists) and the agreements in each project's BIM protocol.
- Process revisions and changes quickly and accurately and keep models up to date.
- Manage your own planning and hours and deliver within the agreed time and quality.
- Coordinate with the engineers in Valencia and the project teams in the Netherlands on progress, questions and changes.




- Contribute ideas to improve the BIM workflow, families and templates.

Your profile

- EQF5, EQF6 or university level degree, preferably in building services, mechanical engineering or construction.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a BIM modeller or draughtsman, preferably in building services (MEP / HVAC).
- Excellent knowledge of Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is a plus.
- Experience with clash control and collaborating in shared BIM models (IFC).
- Good level of English, both spoken and written.
- Living in the Valencia region.

What we offer

- A gross annual salary of €40,000 – €45,000 on a full-time basis, depending on experience and profile.

Working on-site

This is a full-time, office-based position. You will work five days a week in a modern office in Valencia, together with your colleagues in the engineering team.
