Job Title: Financial Analyst – MRO Operations

2. Purpose of the Position
The Financial Analyst – MRO Operations is responsible for providing financial control and analytical support to maintenance operations. The role acts as the bridge between Engineering and Finance, ensuring accurate project costing, labour utilisation monitoring, budget control, profitability analysis and financial reporting across maintenance activities.
The position will support management decision-making through detailed analysis of maintenance projects, workforce productivity, material consumption and operational performance.
3. Functional Reporting and Relationships
Functionally reports to: Group CFO
Operationally supports (on site): Chief Operating Officer and Chief Engineering Officer
Works closely with: Chief of Engineering, Production Manager, Planning Department, Commercial Department, Project Managers and Group Finance Team

4. Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor project costs, labour hours and profitability across maintenance activities.
Track vigente performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances and risks.
Analyse labour utilisation, productivity and recovery rates.
Prepare operational finance reports, KPIs and management dashboards.
Partner with Engineering and Production teams to improve financial and operational performance.
Maintain accurate project costing and operational data.
Identify opportunities to improve margins, productivity and cost control.
5. Technical Requirements
Degree in Finance, Data Analysis, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis,



project controlling or operational finance.
Experience in aviation, MRO, engineering, manufacturing or project-based environments will be considered a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of project costing and budget control.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI will be considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to translate operational data into meaningful financial insights.
Fluent English and Spanish.

8. Performance Evaluation
Performance will be assessed based on the quality and timeliness of management reporting, accuracy of budgets, forecasts and project costing, effectiveness of labour utilisation monitoring, and the overall reliability of operational and financial data used to support decision-making.
9. Observations
The position is expected to evolve as the MRO business grows and operational reporting requirements increase. Responsibilities may therefore be adjusted according to operational and business needs.
