Junior Project Manager – Superyacht Refit

Location: Spain

We are supporting ISC Finishing with the appointment of a Junior Project Manager to join their growing Spanish operation.

ISC Finishing is a specialist superyacht paint, finishing and refit business with around 20 years of experience across the Mediterranean. The company is continuing to expand its regional project-delivery structure, with Valencia and Sagunto becoming an increasingly important long-term base.

The role

This is a hands-on, site-focused position supporting experienced Project Managers with the planning, coordination and delivery of superyacht painting, finishing and refit projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and shipyard personnel, helping to maintain schedules, resources, documentation, communication and quality throughout live projects.

The role offers a clear route toward taking on greater project responsibility as experience develops. Previous paint or coatings experience is useful, but not essential.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior Project Managers with project planning, coordination and delivery.

• Prepare and update schedules, work plans, progress records and site reports.

• Coordinate daily activities with production teams, subcontractors, suppliers and shipyard staff.

• Track progress and highlight delays or operational issues.

• Support labour allocation, materials, equipment and logistics planning.

• Maintain project documentation and assist with budgets, costs and variations.

• Attend site meetings, inspections and stakeholder discussions.

• Help monitor quality, safety and manufacturer application requirements.

• Develop knowledge of surface preparation, coatings and finishing standards.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a motivated,

organised and technically aware early-career professional with experience in project coordination, site operations, technical project support or a similar environment.

Candidates may come from marine, shipyard, refit, construction, industrial or other practical project environments. Previous superyacht experience is not essential.

Requirements

• Some relevant project coordination, operational or technical-site experience.

• Strong planning, organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working on site, in shipyards and onboard yachts.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with different stakeholders.

• Basic familiarity with schedules, project documentation and progress reporting.

• Strong Spanish and good English.

• Willingness to work around Valencia / Sagunto and travel when required.

Desirable experience

• Exposure to superyacht refit, yacht building, shipyards or marine services.

• Knowledge of paints, coatings, fairing, surface preparation or finishing.

• Experience supporting subcontractors, production teams or site scheduling.

• Technical education in engineering, construction or project management.

• Confidence using Excel or project-planning tools.

Package

A competitive package will be offered depending on experience and suitability.

Accommodation will be arranged and covered when working away from the agreed home base, with project travel and agreed daily expenses also supported. Relocation assistance may be discussed where appropriate.

Why join?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established specialist business during a period of growth in Spain, gain hands-on exposure to major superyacht refit projects and develop under experienced Project Managers with a clear route toward managing projects independently.
