Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Industrial Engineer focused on Production Process Improvement to join their dynamic team in Queenstown . This role is vital for enhancing the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of all production activities. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, implementing lean manufacturing techniques, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
- Design and standardize work procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow and establish realistic production standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes and provide necessary training.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost, and report on findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in production process analysis and improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and performance measurement.
