Role Description The Development Manager/Director will oversee the full lifecycle of industrial real estate projects in Spain, from site identification and acquisition through design, permitting, construction, and delivery. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating with internal teams, external consultants, local authorities, and investors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Panattoni’s quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing development opportunities, preparing financial models and feasibility studies, managing project schedules and budgets, and leading approval processes. The role also includes negotiating key contracts, monitoring construction progress, managing risks, and preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership and capital partners.



The Development Manager/Director will contribute to local business development efforts, helping to build and maintain relationships with brokers, tenants, and other market stakeholders. Qualifications
- Experience in real estate development, particularly industrial, logistics, or commercial projects, with a strong understanding of the full development cycle.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling, including feasibility studies, budgets, and investment returns.
- Strong project management capabilities, including scheduling, risk management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to navigate zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes, and to work effectively with public authorities and local stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with consultants, contractors, and tenants.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, collaborate in a team-oriented environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the Spanish real estate market.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, inclusive teamwork, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
