The role is central in scope: one digital engine serving all markets, based in Madrid.Essential FunctionsLead all financial, accounting, risk management and treasury with strong financial discipline and transparencyActing as a strategic partner to the local business and international managementDevelop and execute a financing strategy aligned with MET Retail' growth planOverseeing all financial activities including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role also involves managing treasury, liquidity, and cash-flow planningProvide financial insight to support commercial decisions, business development, and strategic initiatives,



and to ensure that appropriate financial controls and risk-management frameworks are in place to support the commercial activitiesOversee audit preparation and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial auditsQualificationsMaster degree in finance6-8 years experience in senior finance roles in BtoC segment, with a strong background in the energy sector, other regulated market experiences, like telecommunication, banking could be also considered A solid understanding of IFRS, financial reporting and risk management is essentialAbility to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, business-oriented approachFluency in both English and Spanish is requiredExperience building scalable systems, processes, and teams in a high-growth environment is an assetExcellent analytical and strategic-thinking abilitiesEntrepreneurial mindset, ability to blend traditional financial stewardship with the growth-driven, agile mindset
