Overview

In this role you lead Platform Operations for Evinova's general SaaS platform, shaping reliability, security, and cost efficiency at scale. You own cloud operations across AWS, drive CI/CD reliability, and guide automation and Fin Ops initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You mentor junior engineers and set standards for secure, resilient infrastructure. Your work supports the mission to transform healthtech by leveraging data, AI, and scalable cloud practices. Responsabilidades

- Lead day-to-day cloud operations across AWS accounts (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM) and lifecycle management (patching, scaling, performance tuning, backups).
- Own incident escalation, perform root-cause analysis, and drive post-incident reviews.
- Improve resilience via automation, standardization, and proactive monitoring.
- Architect CI/CD improvements (ArgoCD, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins) to boost reliability and reduce deployment friction.
- Automate repetitive tasks using Python or Bash; collaborate with engineering for streamlined environments.
- Mentor Cloud Ops engineers on CI/CD patterns and guardrails.
- Lead cloud cost-efficiency initiatives across compute, storage, data services, and networking.




- Forecast cloud spend with engineering/Fin Ops and track cost KPIs.
- Own MongoDB and/or RDS Aurora operations (performance, scaling, DR, backups); diagnose complex DB issues.
- Guide usage patterns for MongoDB/RDS Aurora and contribute to DR planning and data resiliency.
- Design and enhance observability (Cloud Watch, Grafana, Splunk, Open Telemetry) with runbooks, SLOs, and playbooks.
- Improve alert quality and response processes; promote observability adoption across teams.
- Enforce IAM governance and secure operational patterns; support compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) and audit readiness.

Requisitos principales

- 5–8+ years in Cloud Ops, Dev Ops, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on AWS operations at scale (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, Cloud Watch).
- Production-level expertise with MongoDB and/or RDS Aurora.
- Strong automation and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Hands-on CI/CD and deployment platform experience.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning across cloud, networking, and apps.
- Observability tooling experience (Datadog, Cloud Watch, Grafana, Splunk, Open Telemetry).
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead operational improvements.
