Overview

In this role you will build and scale a Cloud Foundry-based platform as part of Schwarz Digits, aligning with STACKIT services and open-source contributions. You will own the platform’s reliability, performance, and day-to-day operations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused cloud solutions. The role combines agile development with security-minded operations to support European digital sovereignty. You will work in a fast-paced environment that values initiative and impact, offering a meaningful opportunity to shape cloud platform capabilities at scale.

Responsabilidades

- Develop and improve the Cloud Foundry platform for functionality and scalability
- Ensure high software quality through testing and code reviews
- Integrate the platform with STACKIT services for a user-friendly experience
- Contribute to open-source projects (e.g., BOSH Cloud Provider Interface for STACKIT IaaS)
- Share responsibility for deployed services with the product team (You build it, you run it)




- Handle day-to-day platform operations and L3 support during business hours with night-time on-call rotations

Requisitos principales

- Extensive programming experience, preferably in Go
- Familiarity with professional software development methods (standards, build and release management)
- Multiple years of software system architecture design, including patterns, scalability, resilience
- Practical experience with CI/CD workflows and automated delivery pipelines
- Experience operating and maintaining scalable applications or cloud platforms in production
- English proficiency for international, agile teamwork
- Nice-to-have: experience with Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes Operator Pattern
