Overview

In this role you will support category and direct-material sourcing with a strong focus on commercial topics like total delivered cost, supplier strategies, and contract management. You will work across local and regional teams to optimize cost and secure reliable supply, collaborating with R&D;, Quality, Marketing, and Sales on new product and machine developments. This position offers growth within Ecolab’s general procurement organization and exposure to strategic initiatives in a dynamic, international setting.

Responsabilidades

- Support and deploy Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing processes to drive cost optimization
- Develop and manage sourcing and savings projects with pipeline development and performance tracking
- Identify and implement direct-material sourcing strategies, including tail vendors, to reduce cost and improve supply security
- Lead or support commercial negotiations with suppliers (pricing, contracts, long-term agreements)
- Monitor supplier performance (cost, delivery, service levels, risk)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D;, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and Sales on new developments to anticipate sourcing needs
- Monitor supplier markets and risks, provide commercial recommendations




- Lead or coordinate supplier qualification initiatives from a commercial perspective
- Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes and ERP deployment activities (SAP)
- Collaborate with European and global procurement teams to align strategies and share best practices
- Investigate and resolve supply risks or disruptions with clear stakeholder communication
- Ensure continuity of supply for assigned categories
- Drive cost, quality, and delivery performance for purchased components
- Contribute to achieving procurement and business financial targets
- Lead supplier price and contract negotiations
- Support supplier selection and cross-functional sourcing decisions
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional procurement projects

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field OR High School Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant procurement experience
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
