Overview

As Senior Data Engineer, you will design and scale data infrastructure to empower cross-functional teams with reliable, secure access to high-quality data. You’ll own core data models, optimize ELT pipelines, and drive governance and quality standards that shape the platform. You’ll mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, and data science to scale our data foundation. Your work powers data-driven decision-making across Amenitiz with a focus on impact and growth. Responsabilidades

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines
- Architect and optimize ELT workflows in dbt for modular, performant pipelines
- Own integrity and performance of core data models in Redshift for usability and scalability
- Establish data governance, observability, and quality standards across pipelines




- Integrate diverse data sources, APIs, and third-party platforms
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align data architecture with goals
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance including incident response
- Contribute to long-term data platform strategy and evaluate new tools and designs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of data engineering experience in scaling infrastructure
- Expert SQL and strong Python proficiency
- Hands-on with Big Query, Snowflake, or Redshift and orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt
- Cloud architecture knowledge (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and distributed systems
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, and governance frameworks
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to diagnose complex issues
- Strong communication and leadership skills with cross-team project experience
