We are looking for a Buyer to build and own THEKER's purchasing function from the ground up.
That means a continuous flow of electronic components, mechanical parts, sensors, cables, and custom hardware, often with tight timelines and no room for supply failure. Right now, purchasing is distributed across the engineering team. You will create structure: qualify and manage suppliers, drive cost discipline, reduce lead times, and ensure the right components are available when the engineering and integration teams need them. What we're looking for
- 2-3 years of experience in audit, financial control, inventory accounting, or a similar backoffice function, ideally at an industrial, manufacturing, or logistics company.
- Direct exposure to inventory management or physical goods flows from inside an operating company,



not only through client engagements.
- Clear intent to move from a backoffice or advisory function into a role with direct business ownership, and natural ease engaging with people.
- Native Spanish and fluent English.

- Background in a Big Four or mid-tier audit firm, financial due diligence, or internal control functions.
- Experience with inventory audits, physical stock counts, or SKU-level data.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement tools (SAP, Odoo, or similar).
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Industrial Engineering.
You're ready to leave a backoffice function behind and take direct ownership of a business area.
Main Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end procurement process: sourcing, RFQs, supplier selection, PO management, and delivery follow-up.
- Build and maintain a qualified supplier base for electronics, mechanical components, and custom hardware.
- Monitor open POs and delivery timelines, and flag supply risks before they hit production or deployment.
- Manage inventory levels for recurring components, balancing availability against cash tied up in stock.
- Build procurement infrastructure from scratch: approval workflows, spend visibility, vendor evaluation criteria, documentation standards.
