Our client is a product-led tech company where data is the product itself. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take real ownership of their core data platform.
The team is small and senior by design. You won't be handed tickets: you will own projects end to end, from shaping the problem with product and leadership to running the solution in production and keeping it healthy.

Build and tune the analytical layers that power the product and its APIsTake full responsibility for ingestion pipelines across a wide range of sourcesRaise the bar on data quality,



reliability and observabilityPartner with backend and product engineers to ship data-driven featuresWhat you bringExperience in product-based companies, ideally ones where analytics or data is the core offeringStrong ownership: a track record of taking pipelines from ingestion through to analytics and being accountable for the outcomeAdvanced SQL, ideally on PostgresHands-on experience with OLAP and analytical databases such as ClickHouse or DuckDBStrong Python, with Polars and/or pandasExperience with an orchestration tool such as Airflow or PrefectFluent English, written and spokenLarge-scale ingestion or web data and scraping experiencePackageUp to €135,000 per year, depending on experience.
