Role Overview:We are looking for aStaff Data Engineerto join our growingProduct & Tech team. You'll collaborate closely with theproduct teamandbackend engineers, and serve as a trusted partner tobusiness stakeholderswho depend on accurate, timely data to drive product decisions and company strategy.
This role is ideal for someone with strong skills inPythonandSQL, solidsoftware engineering fundamentals, a background indata?focused environmentowning the full data cycle fromoperational to analytical systems . Establish and cultivatebest practicesarounddata architecture, modeling, quality,andengineering standards . Partner withProduct,



Engineering,andbusiness stakeholdersto translate business needs intoscalable data solutions . Proficiency in Python for data engineering:Buildingrobust ETL/ELT pipelines ,modular libraries, andtoolingwith strong testing and observability.
Advanced SQL skills with PostgreSQL:Complex query design ,performance tuning ,indexing strategies, and a deep understanding ofexecution plansfor bothOLTP and OLAP workloads . Strong experience with dbt:Data modeling ,testing, anddocumenting analytical datasets, managing environments, and structuring projects forscalability . Hands?on experience with Dagster (or similar orchestration tools):Designingassets/jobs ,dependency graphs ,scheduling, andincident handlingfor data workflows.
Strong grasp of data modeling:For this role, we're happy to share a reference point within the band: the expected salary range is around**€ – ** €, centered around the median.
