We are looking for a Trainee Cook to join our team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will support the daily operations of the Kitchen team while gaining hands-on experience, developing your culinary skills and building a strong foundation in a luxury hospitality environment.
ResponsibilitiesAdheres to all company policies and procedures regarding food preparation, receiving, storage, and handlingPossesses comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including recipes, production methods, and presentation, ensuring consistency with the company's brand standardsEnsures quality control of raw materials,



meeting specified standardsPrepares and presents recipes in accordance with brand guidelinesAttends all required training sessions and seminars, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of materials, procedures, and best practicesDemonstrates the ability to complete responsibilities accurately and consistently within established timeframes to meet departmental goalsFollows meal preparation protocols for managing allergies and dietary restrictionsRequirementsDegree from IEK or Culinary School with a minimum of 2 years of studyFluent in Greek and English, both spoken and writtenStrong written and verbal communication skillsWell-versed in raw materials, recipes, and presentation standardsAble to accurately follow and execute standard recipesSkilled in identifying allergens in both raw materials and recipesProficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and internet usageExperienced in the proper operation and management of kitchen equipment and machineryKnowledgeable in HACCP procedures and proficient in completing necessary formsFamiliar with basic cutting techniques and cooking methodsSkilled in baking techniques and understanding of various cooking gradesxqysrnhAble to manage inventory, refrigerators, and stock within assigned areas of responsibilityProficient in all fundamental hot and cold kitchen techniquesBenefitsWhat
