We have recently partnered with a leading global CRO, who are looking for experienced Senior / Principal Biostatisticians to join their successful study delivery team.
The Senior / Principal Biostatistician will be accountable for the leadership of the Biostatistics and Programming activities of a program of studies of moderate complexity and/or of high value with high impact for the organization. Also responsible for planning, monitoring, organizing and reviewing activities of biostatisticians and programmers working on the assigned program of studies, ensuring individual studies and the overall program of studies and integrated analyses are delivered on time, on budget to required quality. As a biostatistician, you will not only be focused on delivering quality results for the client's needs, but also value working and collaborating in a adaptable environment. Although some team members are home-based and others are office-based, the company's virtual resources support teams to work collaboratively and effectively across the globe. Develop complex analysis strategies and execute them using efficient programming techniques (software: SAS, R). Preparation of statistical analysis plans including the definition of derived data, and the design of statistical tables, figures, and data listings for clinical summary reports.
Statistical analysesTake quality seriously. Review analysis data sets and quality control all types of statistical analysis deliverables.
Interpretation of data and reporting of resultsCoach and mentor. Train and uplift junior members of the department.
Liaise with other biostatistical and company departments to optimize global efficiency.
Coordinate Biostatistics related project activities for successful completion within given timelines and budget.




Coordinate with clients with regard to data analysis, scope of work, and budget.
Experience in statistical analysis in a clinically related subject, either within clinical trials or in EpidemiologyKey Qualifications and SkillsM.
Experience in statistics, biostatistics or related fieldProven experience must be in a CRO or Pharmaceutical environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge in applied parametric and nonparametric statistics and SAS programming skills.
In-depth knowledge of study designs, and statistical analysis conventions in one or more therapeutic areas.
Knowledge of clinical trials methodology, regulatory requirements, statistics and statistical software packages, including SAS are necessary.
